Abstract

ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN NYERI AKUT DENGAN TERAPI RELAKSASI BENSON PADA IBU POST SEKSIO SESAREA DI RUANG DARA RSUD WANGAYA Elisabeth Umbu Lado Program Studi Profesi Ners Poltekkes Kemenkes Denpasar Email : [email protected] ABSTRAK Seksio sesarea merupakan proses pembedahan untuk melahirkan janin melalui irisan pada dinding perut dan Rahim. Masalah utama yang sering muncul pascaoperasi adalah nyeri akut, yang dapat menghambat mobilisasi dini, proses menyusui, dan pemulihan ibu. Terapi non-farmakologis seperti relaksasi Benson efektif memicu analgesia endogen untuk menurunkan intensitas nyeri tersebut. Tujuan karya ilmiah akhir ners ini adalah untuk menerapkan asuhan keperawatan holistik pada pasien post seksio sesarea dengan fokus pengelolaan nyeri akut menggunakan terapi relaksasi Benson di Ruang Dara RSUD Wangaya. Desain penelitian berupa studi kasus asuhan keperawatan yang meliputi pengkajian, diagnosis, intervensi, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Intervensi relaksasi Benson dilakukan selama 3 hari dengan durasi 10–15 menit per sesi. Pengkajian awal menunjukkan pasien mengalami nyeri akut akibat agen pencedera fisik (prosedur operasi). Setelah diberikan intervensi terapi relaksasi Benson secara rutin, terjadi penurunan skala nyeri yang signifikan dari nyeri sedang menjadi nyeri ringan. Dapat disimpulkan terapi relaksasi Benson ini terbukti efektif menurunkan skala nyeri akut pada pasien post seksio sesarea. Sehingga, diharapkan tenaga kesehatan dapat mengimplementasikan terapi ini sebagai intervensi mandiri keperawatan yang aman dan komprehensif. NURSING CARE FOR ACUTE PAIN USING BENSON RELAXATION THERAPY FOR POST-CAESAREAN SECTION MOTHERS IN WANGAYA REGIONAL HOSPITAL Elisabeth Umbu Lado Nursing Professional Study Program, Denpasar Ministry of Health Polytechnic Email : [email protected] ABSTRACT Cesarean section is a surgical procedure to deliver a fetus through incisions in the abdominal wall and uterus. The primary complication that frequently arises post-surgery is acute pain, which can impede early mobilization, breastfeeding, and maternal recovery. Non-pharmacological therapies, such as Benson relaxation, are effective in triggering endogenous analgesia to reduce pain intensity. The purpose of this final scientific paper for nurses is to apply holistic nursing care to post-cesarean section patients, focusing on acute pain management through Benson relaxation therapy in the Dara Ward at Wangaya Regional General Hospital. The research design employs a nursing care case study encompassing assessment, diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. The Benson relaxation intervention was administered over 3 days, lasting 10–15 minutes per session. The initial assessment indicated that the patient experienced acute pain secondary to a physical injury agent (the surgical procedure). Following the routine administration of Benson relaxation therapy, a significant reduction in the pain scale was observed, decreasing from moderate to mild pain. In conclusion, Benson relaxation therapy is proven effective in reducing acute pain scores in post-cesarean section patients. Therefore, healthcare providers are expected to implement this therapy as a safe and comprehensive independent nursing intervention.
