Abstract
FACTORS AFFECTING COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN POSYANDU ABSTRACT Community participation is the participation of all members of the community in solving problems that occur in a community, participation can be interpreted as the participation or participation of a person or group of people in an activity carried out in the community. Participation in Posyandu activities is defined as the participation of community members in activities carried out by Posyandu, which in this case relates to public participation and awareness to visit Posyandu (Puspita, Waty, & Husin, 2018). Based on the 2018 Riskesdas, the prevalence of the proportion of community participation or the presence of children's parents to carry out weight weighing for toddlers nationally consists of weighing toddlers according to the standard, which is 54.6%. (Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, 2018). Data was collected through online searches obtained from 10 journals. The results of the Pustaka study show that the proportion of community participation in several posyandu ranges from 38.0% to 67.5%, the factors related to community participation in several posyandu are knowledge of mothers of children under five, education of mothers of children under five, distance to posyandu, role of cadres, work, support family, age of the mother and family income. Dominant factors that affect community participation in several posyandu, the highest percentage is 90.8% on the work factor of mothers of children under five in the study (Diagama, Amir, & Hasneli, 2019).
