Abstract
Obstructive ileus is a mechanical blockage of intestinal contents by masses, adhesions, hernias, or other physical obstructions. The causes of occurrence in the small intestine include incarcerated hernias, intestinal adhesions or adhesions, while the causes of blockages in the large intestine are tumors/cancer, recurrent adhesions, and hernias. A person with obstructive ileus usually undergoes a laparotomy which takes a long time in the operating room so that they are at risk of experiencing hypothermia when the operation is completed. This study aims to determine the nursing care of hypothermia in patients who experienced postoperative laparotomy with warm fluid therapy. This study uses a descriptive type of research with a case study approach on two subjects in the Operating Room of the Sanjiwani Hospital, Gianyar. The results of this paper obtained major and minor data at the time of postoperative assessment, the patient appeared to be shivering, the skin felt cold and the body temperature was below normal. With the study data, a nursing diagnosis of hypothermia can be formulated. The action taken is the provision of warm infusion therapy. The evaluation obtained after being given nursing care for 1x45 minutes the hypothermia nursing problem was resolved. The conclusion of giving warm infusion therapy can increase body temperature in postoperative laparotomy patients. Keywords: Hypothermia, , Ileus Obstructive, Laparatomy
