Abstract
PERCEPTION OF A FERTILIZER AGE COUPLE CONCERNING THE CONTRACEPTION OF MEN'S OPERATIVE METHOD IN DARMASABA VILLAGE YEAR 2021 ABSTRACT The participation of men as family planning (KB) acceptors is still relatively low compared to women, where family planning acceptors are more dominated by women than men. MOW acceptors tend to be more than MOP, as can be seen from the data from Family Planning Field Officers in 2020, there are 104 fertile age couples (PUS) participants who have active tubectomy (8.2%), while 17 people (1.3%) have vasectomy. The research objective was to determine the perception of PUS about male operative method contraception in Darmasaba Village. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with a cross sectional approach method. The population used in this study was the husband of fertile age couples with a total population of 1626 people, with a sample size of 94 people, and using purposive sampling technique. The results showed negative perceptions of EFA as many as 57 respondents 60.6%, 20-35 years old as many as 15 respondents (100%), Secondary education as many as 73 respondents (72.6%), not working as many as five respondents (100%), Income ≤UMK as many as 10 respondents (71.4%). The conclusion of EFA's perception about MOP contraception is mostly negative as much as 57 (60.6%). Suggestions for health workers, especially midwives, to educate husbands from fertile age couples to participate in supporting family planning programs for men.
