Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF YOUTH KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDES REGARDING HEALTH PROTOCOLS DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC IN AMERTA BHUANA VILLAGE, SELAT DISTRICT, KARANGASEM REGENCY ABSTRACT Adolescence is a time when the individual changes physically and psychologically. Teenagers are a vulnerable group in the spread of the SARS-COV-2 virus. There are 185 cases adolescent of COVID-19 in Karangasem Regency. The purpose of this study was to describe the knowledge and attitudes of adolescents regarding health protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic in Amerta Bhuana Village, Selat District, Karangasem Regency. This type of study is descriptive with simple random sampling technique. A sample of 92 people, implementation in March 2020. Data collection by distributing questionnaires via google form. Data analysis used univariate in the form of frequency distribution. The results showed that out of 92 respondents, 91.3% of them had good knowledge, 7.6% of them had sufficient knowledge, and 1.1% of those who had less knowledge. Meanwhile, the attitude of adolescents regarding health protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic had a positive attitude of 50% and respondents who had a negative attitude of 50%. The conclusion is that the knowledge of adolescents regarding the COVID-19 health protocol is generally good, but there are some positive and some negative attitudes, to improve adolescent discipline in implementing health protocols the village can work with health workers to carry out health promotion and SATGAS COVID-19 always campaigns. health protocol during the COVID-19 pandemic.
