Abstract
Knowledge is the result of knowing, and this happens after people have sensed a certain object. Brushing teeth is one of the basic abilities that every human being must have to maintain the health of the oral cavity. Pregnancy is a condition in which a woman has a fetus that is growing in her body. This study aims to determine the knowledge of pregnant women about brushing their teeth in the District of South Denpasar in 2021. This research is a descriptive study with a total of 48 respondents of pregnant women and data collection using a questionnaire. The data collected is primary data. The results of the research with sufficient category were twenty one people (43.7%), good category were twelve people (25%), very good category were eight people (16.7%), poor category were seven people (14.6 %), and there were no pregnant women who got the category of failure. The average knowledge of pregnant women about brushing their teeth in South Denpasar District in 2021 is 65 which is in the sufficient category. The conclusion of this research is that the knowledge of pregnant women about brushing their teeth in South Denpasar District in 2021 is in the sufficient category.
