Abstract
Knowledge is the result of knowing, and this happens after people sense a certain object. Sensing occurs through the human senses, namely the senses of sight, hearing, smell, feeling and touch. The purpose of this study was to describe the level of knowledge about gingivitis in pregnant women at the location of KKN IPE Poltekkes Kemenkes Denpasar Group 2 Karangasem II Karangasem Regency. This research is a descriptive study with a survey design. The results of the study with 51 respondents showed that the level of knowledge about gingivitis in pregnant women at the location of KKN IPE Poltekkes of the Ministry of Health Denpasar Group 2 Karangasem II Karangasem Regency in 2021 was 58.9% with good criteria, 31.3% with sufficient criteria, and 9.8% with less criteria. The average level of knowledge about gingivitis in pregnant women at the location of KKN IPE Health Poltekkes Denpasar Group 2 Karangasem II Karangasem Regency in 2021 is 76.2 with good criteria. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the level of knowledge about gingivitis in pregnant women at the location of KKN IPE Poltekkes Kemenkes Denpasar Group 2 Karangasem II Karangasem Regency in 2021 is a good criteria.
