Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF BRUSHING TEETH BEHAVIOR AND ORAL HYGIENE LEVEL OF TOURISM SUBJECT IN ALAS KEDATON OBJECT TABANAN REGENCY IN 2018 ABSTRACT Behavior is one of the factors that influence a person's health status. Community self-maintenance behavior in the maintenance of oral and dental health is measured by brushing teeth. The purpose of the study was to determine the behavior of brushing teeth and the level of dental and oral hygiene of tourism agents in Alas Kedaton Tourism Object in 2018. This research is a descriptive study using a sample of 60 respondents. The results of the study showed that tourists who behaved tooth brushing with good criteria were 21.7%, 25% enough and needed guidance which was 53.3% with good dental and oral hygiene criteria, namely 16.7%, moderate at 65% and bad at 18.3%. The average OHI-S of tourism agents is 2.12. There are no tour operators who behave very well and the level of dental and oral hygiene with poor criteria is only owned by tourism actors who behave need guidance. The level of oral hygiene tends to be better with the better behavior of brushing teeth tourist actors. Tourists in Alas Kedaton Tourism Object need to get counseling about dental and mouth health so that tourism actors can change their brushing behavior.
