Abstract

TREATMENT OF NURSING CARE IN OSTEOARTHRITIS PATIENTS WITH PAIN DISORDER ABSTRACT Osteoarthritis is a chronic degenerative joint disease where the whole structure of the joints undergo pathological changes characterized by pain. Most female Osteoarthritis Sufferers. The incidence rate of osteoarthritis in Indonesia, diagnosed by healthcare personnel from 1990 to 2010, has increased by 44.2% as MEASURED by DALY (Disability Adjust Lost Years). In the physiological stages of pain, warm compresses of ginger stew lowers joint pain with the transduction stage, which in this stage ginger has a gingerol content that can inhibit the formation of Prostaglandins as a mediator of pain, so that it can reduce joint pain. The Purpose of writing this scientific work is to describe the care of nursing by administering a warm compress therapy ginger decoction to overcome the pain disorder in osteoarthritis patients. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with a case study approach through journal Review on two osteoarthritispatients. Review Journal at Poltekkes Denpasar Repository on 08 April 2020 until 10 April 2020, obtained by research showed in both patients received patients complained of pain in joints, felt limited joint movement, decreased joint strength, and additional bone appears. In patients I pain Scales 3 (0-10) decreased to 0 (0-10) and patients II Pain Scale 2 (0-10) decreased to 0 (0-10) and formulated nursing diagnosis is acute pain. Nursing plan is a patient can use a warm compress therapy ginger decoction. The implementation given to the patient by the nurse has been conducted in accordance with planned intervention which is a warm compress ginger decoction as much as three visits for 10-15 minutes. Result of evaluation obtained with the subjective data of both patients say after often given a warm compressing therapy of ginger decoction every day for 10-15 minutes of body to relax, it has no pain with a pain score 0 and the objective data of both patients seemed cooperative. Suggestion for patients and families to regularly and routinely do warm compresses on ginger stew independently so that pain does npt recur. Keywords: warm compress, osteoarthritis, pain   GAMBARAN ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA PASIEN OSTEOARTHRITIS DENGAN GANGGUAN RASA NYERI ABSTRAK Osteoarthritis merupakan penyakit sendi degeneratif yang bersifat kronis, dimana keseluruhan struktur dari sendi mengalami perubahan patologis dengan ditandai dengan adanya nyeri. Penderita osteoarthritis sebagian besar perempuan. Angka kejadian osteoartritis di Indonesia yang didiagnosis oleh tenaga kesehatan sejak tahun 1990 hingga 2010 telah mengalami peningkatan sebanyak 44,2% yang diukur dengan DALY (Disability Adjust Lost Years). Pada tahapan fisiologis nyeri, kompres hangat rebusan jahe menurunkan nyeri sendi dengan tahap transduksi, dimana pada tahapan ini jahe memiliki kandungan gingerol yang bisa menghambat terbentuknya prostaglandin sebagai mediator nyeri, sehingga dapat menurunkan nyeri sendi. Tujuan penulisan karya karya tulis ilmiah ini adalah untuk menggambarkan asuhan keperawatan dengan pemberian terapi kompres hangat rebusan jahe untuk mengatasi gangguan rasa nyeri pada pasien osteoarthritis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus melalui review jurnal pada dua pasien osteoarthritis. Review jurnal pada repository Poltekkes Denpasar pada tanggal 08 April 2020 sampai 10 April 2020, didapat hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada kedua pasien didapatkan pasien mengeluh nyeri pada sendi, merasa pergerakan sendi terbatas, kekuatan sendi menurun, dan muncul tulang tambahan. Pada pasien I skala nyeri 3 (0-10) menurun menjadi 0 (0-10) dan pasien II skala nyeri 2 (0-10) menurun menjadi 0 (0-10) dan dirumuskan diagnosis keperawatan yaitu nyeri akut. Rencana keperawatan yaitu pasien dapat menggunakan terapi kompres hangat rebusan jahe. Implementasi yang diberikan pada pasien oleh perawat telah dilakukan sesuai intervensi yang telah direncanakan yaitu kompres hangat rebusan jahe sebanyak tiga kali kunjungan selama 10-15 menit. Hasil evaluasi yang didapatkan dengan data subjektif kedua pasien mengatakan setelah sering diberikan terapi kompres hangat rebusan jahe setiap hari selama 10-15 menit tubuhnya menjadi rileks, sudah tidak nyeri dengan skor nyeri 0 dan data objektif kedua pasien tampak kooperatif. Saran bagi pasien dan keluarga untuk teratur dan rutin melakukan kompres hangat rebusan jahe secara mandiri agar nyeri tidak timbul kembali. Kata kunci : kompres hangat, osteoarthritis, nyeri
