Abstract
Paksebali Village is one of the tourist villages in Dawan District, Klungkung Regency, Bali. The creation of a community self-help group program that manages waste at TPST builds a dress up aimed at minimizing waste problems. Activities carried out starting from the transportation of waste, sorting waste, and processing waste. In the implementation there were obstacles, namely from the preliminary survey there were 80% who did not sort waste, so the Nangun Resik TPST was sorting again by the officers. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with community behavior in sorting household waste. This type of research includes observational analytic research and Chi Square test. This study used 58 samples. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire distributed via Google forms due to the corona virus epidemic. The distribution of google forms is carried out by asking for assistance from the Village Head and Mr Kadus in each banjar in order to spread and assist the community in filling out the google form. The results of this study are the community feels not vulnerable (82.1%) has negative behavior, the community does not feel it will cause serious problems if it does not do waste sorting (83.3%) has a negative behavior, the community feels that waste segregation activities do not beneficial (86.7%) had negative behavior, did not feel any obstacles in carrying out waste sorting activities (64.3%) had positive behavior, people felt unsure and unable to do waste sorting (81.8%) had behavior which is negative, the community feels no need to take action in sorting waste (80%) has negative behavior.From the results of bivariate analysis using the Chi Square test, it is known that there is a correlation between perception factors and behavior in sorting household waste. It is suggested that for puskesmas in the village work area, community leaders and organizations in the village can be a place to help provide information about waste problems and for the community to provide separate and closed bins even though they use as simple as possible.
