Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF LEARNING KNOWLEDGE AND BEHAVIOR OF LIVESTOCK CHICKEN IN THE USE OF PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT The Study Was Conducted in Banjar Kanginan Pesedahan Village Manggis District Regency Of Karangasem 2018 Abstract Personal protective equipment is required to reduce the risk of contamination. The use of APD aims to protect workers from potential hazard as well as workplace accidents that may occur in the workplace. The purpose of this study is to know the description of the level of knowledge and behavior of chicken farm employees in the use of personal protective equipment such as masks, handscoons and boots. The result of the knowledge of chicken farm employees about the use of masks as many as 30 peoples (100%) including good category, employee’s knowledge about the use of handscoons as many as 30 peoples (100%) including bad category and employee knowledge about the use of boots as many as 30 peoples (100%) is a good category. The results of the behavior of chicken farm employees in the use of masks as many as 15 peoples (50%) including good category, while 15 peoples (50%) others are bad category because they do not use masks, employee behavior in the use of handscoons and boots as many as as many as 30 peoples (100%) including bad category. Suggestions for chicken farm employees to use full personal protective equipment while doing activities in the chicken coop. Keywords : Knowledge, behavior, personal protective equipment
