Abstract

KADAR KOLESTEROL TOTAL PADA PEMINUM KOPI DI DESA SUMITA GIANYAR ABSTRAK Kolesterol total adalah jumlah kolesterol yang dibawa dalam semua partikel pembawa kolesterol dalam darah, termasuk HDL (High Density Lipoprotein), LDL (Low Density lipoprotein), dan VLDL. Kadar kolesterol total yang meningkat merupakan salah satu faktor risiko dari berbagai macam penyakit tidak menular seperti penyakit jantung dan stroke. Faktor risiko yang dapat mempengaruhi kadar kolesterol total adalah usia, IMT, aktivitas fisik dan banyaknya konsumsi kopi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kadar kolesterol total pada peminum kopi dengan metode CHOD-PAP. Jenis penelitian yaitu deskriptif dengan teknik probability sampling, yaitu cluster sampling yang diambil pada peminum kopi di Desa Sumita Gianyar dengan besar sampel 30 orang. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa peminum kopi dengan kadar kolesterol total normal sebanyak 80% dan tinggi sebanyak 20%. Kadar kolesterol total meningkat terdapat pada rentang usia 42-51 tahun sebanyak 13,4%, pada kategori IMT normal sebanyak 16,7%, dengan aktivitas fisik <3 kali sebanyak 20%, dan pada konsumsi kopi 4-5 gelas sebanyak 16,7%. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kadar kolesterol total tinggi sebagian besar terjadi pada responden usia 42-51 tahun dengan IMT normal, aktivitas fisik <3 kali dan konsumsi kopi sebanyak 4-5 kali per hari. Kata kunci: kadar kolesterol total, peminum kopi TOTAL CHOLESTEROL LEVELS IN COFFEE DRINKERS IN SUMITA VILLAGE GIANYAR ABSTRACT Total cholesterol is the amount of cholesterol carried in all cholesterol-carrying particles in the blood, including HDL (High Density Lipoprotein), LDL (Low Density lipoprotein), and VLDL. Increased total cholesterol level is one of the risk factors for various types of diseases such as heart disease and stroke. Risk factors that can affect total cholesterol levels are age, BMI, physical activity and the amount of coffee consumed. The purpose of this study were to determine total cholesterol levels in coffee drinkers with the CHOD-PAP method. This type of research is descriptive with probability sampling techniques, namely cluster sampling taken on coffee drinkers in Sumita Village Gianyar with a sample size of 30 people. The results showed that 80% coffee drinkers had normal total cholesterol levels, while 20% had high total cholesterol level. Total cholesterol levels increased in the age range of 42-51 years as much as 13.4%, in the normal BMI category as much as 16.7%, with physical activity <3 times as much as 20%, and at consumption of coffee 4-5 glasses as much as 16.7 %. From these results it can be concluded that high total cholesterol levels mostly occur in respondents aged 42-51 years with normal BMI, physical activity <3 times and consumption of coffee as much as 4-5 times per day.
