Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF THE NEUTROPHIL LYMPHOCYTE RATIO (NLR) IN POST-CHEMOTHERAPY BREAST CANCER PATIENTS ABSTRACT Breast cancer (carcinoma mammae) is a malignant tumor that grows and develops in the mammary ducts, fatty tissue, and connective tissue of the breast. Chemotherapy, as a cytotoxic therapy, can trigger myelosuppression, necessitating monitoring of the NLR. This descriptive study aimed to determine the NLR characteristics in post-chemotherapy breast cancer patients at Bali Mandara Regional Hospital using a total sampling technique on 165 medical records. The results showed that the majority of respondents had normal NLR values (<3.13) 135 individuals (81.8%) and high NLR values (≥3.13) 30 individuals (18.2%). Specifically, normal RNL values were predominantly found in the 45–59 age group (49.1%), invasive breast carcinoma of no special type (66.1%), and grade II (41.2%). It can be concluded that the RNL values of post-chemotherapy breast cancer patients at Bali Mandara Regional Hospital were largely within the normal range. GAMBARAN RASIO NEUTROFIL LIMFOSIT (RNL) PADA PASIEN KANKER PAYUDARA PASKA KEMOTERAPI ABSTRAK Kanker payudara (carcinoma mammae) adalah tumor ganas yang tumbuh dan berkembang pada saluran payudara, jaringan lemak hingga jaringan ikat pada payudara. Kemoterapi sebagai terapi sitotoksik dapat memicu mielosupresi, sehingga diperlukan pemantauan melalui Rasio Neutrofil Limfosit (RNL). Penelitian deskriptif ini bertujuan mengetahui gambaran RNL pada pasien kanker payudara paska kemoterapi di RSUD Bali Mandara menggunakan teknik total sampling terhadap 165 data rekam medis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas responden memiliki nilai rasio neutrofil limfosit normal (<3,13) sebanyak 135 orang (81,8%) dan RNL tinggi (≥3,13) sebanyak 30 orang (18,2%). Secara spesifik, nilai RNL normal dominan ditemukan pada kelompok usia 45–59 tahun (49,1%), tipe kanker Invasive Breast Carcinoma of No Special Type (66,1%), dan grading kanker derajat II (41,2%). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa gambaran RNL pasien kanker payudara paska kemoterapi di RSUD Bali Mandara sebagian besar berada dalam kategori normal.
