Abstract

NURSING CARE FOR AN. G WITH INEFFECTIVE BREATHING PATTERN DUE TO PNEUMONIA IN THE PICU–NICU ROOM AT RSUD SANJIWANI 2026 ABSTRACT Pneumonia is one of the lower respiratory tract infectious diseases that remains a major health problem in infants and children. The purpose of this scientific paper is to identify Nursing Care for An. G with Ineffective Breathing Pattern caused by pneumonia, including assessment, nursing diagnosis, nursing intervention, implementation, and nursing evaluation. The case report was presented descriptively using a case study approach. The sample in this case report was An. G with an ineffective breathing pattern caused by pneumonia. The results after providing Nursing Care for 3 x 24 hours showed decreased dyspnea, reduced use of accessory respiratory muscles, decreased respiratory rate with RR: 23 breaths/minute, and SpO2: 98%. The conclusion of this case report is that the nursing problem in An. G with an ineffective breathing pattern was resolved because An. G no longer experienced dyspnea, did not use accessory respiratory muscles, and the respiratory rate returned to normal. The suggestion of this case report is that the patient’s family is expected to continue the child’s care independently at home by paying attention to signs of respiratory distress such as shortness of breath, and for the hospital as well as healthcare workers to maintain and improve the quality of healthcare services. Keywords: Pneumonia; Ineffective Breathing Pattern ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA AN.G DENGAN POLA NAPAS TIDAK EFEKTIF AKIBAT PNEUMONIA DI RUANG PICU NICU DI RSUD SANJIWANI 2026 ABSTRAK Pneumonia merupakan salah satu penyakit infeksi saluran pernapasan bagian bawah yang masih menjadi masalah kesehatan utama pada bayi dan anak. Tujuan dari karya tulis ilmiah ini adalah untuk mengetahui Asuhan Keperawatan pada An. G dengan Pola Napas Tidak Efektif akibat Pneumonia meliputi pengkajian, diagnosis keperawatan, intervensi keperawatan, implementasi dan evaluasi keperawatan. Laporan kasus disajikan secara deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Sampel dalam laporan kasus ini adalah An. G dengan pola napas tidak efektif akibat pneumonia. Hasil setelah dilakukan Asuhan Keperawatan selama 3 x 24 jam didapatkan hasil dispnea menurun , penggunaan otot bantu napas menurun, frekuensi napas menurun RR: 23x/menit dan SpO2: 98%. Simpulan laporan kasus ini, masalah keperawatan yang ada pada An. G dengan pola napas tidak efektif teratasi dikarenakan An.G sudah tidak mengalami dispnea, tidak menggunakan otot bantu napas, dan frekuensi napas menjadi normal. Saran laporan kasus ini, keluarga dari pasien diharapkan dapat melanjutkan perawatan anak secara mandiri dirumah dengan memperhatikan tanda – tanda gangguan pernapasan seperti sesak napas dan bagi rumah sakit sekaligus tenaga kerja supaya dapat mempertahankan serta meningkatkan mutu pelayanan kesehatan.
