Abstract

NURSING CARE FOR MRS.L WITH RISK OF INFECTION DUE TO POST SECTIO CAESAREA IN THE POSTPARTUM WARD OF RSUD BALI MANDARA 2026 ABSTRACT Childbirth is the process of the expulsion of the fetus from the uterus which can take place normally or through a sectio caesarea procedure if there are certain indications. The sectio caesarea procedure is a surgical procedure that has the risk of causing complications, one of which is the risk of infection due to surgical wounds and invasive actions. The risk of infection in post sectio caesarea mothers can slow down the wound healing process and affect the health condition of the mother after giving birth. The purpose of writing this case report is to describe nursing care in patients with the risk of infection post sectio caesarea. The method used is a case study with a nursing process approach which includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the assessment show that the patient is in a post sectio caesarea condition with a surgical wound that has the potential to experience infection. Nursing interventions provided include monitoring vital signs, wound care with aseptic techniques, maintaining personal hygiene, and providing education regarding infection prevention. The evaluation results show that no signs of infection were found, the wound appears clean and dry, and the patient is able to understand how to prevent infection. Appropriate nursing care can help prevent the occurrence of infection and accelerate the patient’s recovery process. Keywords: Childbirth, Post Sectio Caesarea, Risk of Infection. ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN NY.L DENGAN RISIKO INFEKSI AKIBAT POST SEKSIO SESAREA DI RUANG NIFAS RSUD BALI MANDARA TAHUN 2026 ABSTRAK Persalinan merupakan proses keluarnya janin dari dalam rahim yang dapat berlangsung secara normal maupun melalui tindakan seksio sesarea apabila terdapat indikasi tertentu. Tindakan seksio sesarea merupakan prosedur pembedahan yang berisiko menimbulkan komplikasi, salah satunya risiko infeksi akibat luka operasi dan tindakan invasif. Risiko infeksi pada ibu post seksio sesarea dapat memperlambat proses penyembuhan luka serta mempengaruhi kondisi kesehatan ibu setelah melahirkan. Tujuan penulisan laporan kasus ini adalah untuk menggambarkan asuhan keperawatan pada pasien dengan risiko infeksi post seksio sesarea. Metode yang digunakan yaitu studi kasus dengan pendekatan proses keperawatan yang meliputi pengkajian, diagnosis, perencanaan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Hasil pengkajian menunjukkan pasien berada dalam kondisi post seksio sesarea dengan luka operasi yang berpotensi mengalami infeksi. Intervensi keperawatan yang diberikan meliputi pemantauan tanda vital, perawatan luka dengan teknik aseptik, menjaga kebersihan diri, serta pemberian edukasi mengenai pencegahan infeksi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan tidak ditemukan tanda infeksi, luka tampak bersih dan kering, serta pasien mampu memahami cara pencegahan infeksi. Asuhan keperawatan yang tepat dapat membantu mencegah terjadinya infeksi dan mempercepat proses pemulihan pasien. Kata kunci: Persalinan, Post Seksio Sesarea, Risiko Infeksi.
