Abstract

MIDWIFE CARE OF MRS. “KD”22 YEARS OLD MOTHER MULTIGRAVIDS FROM 20 WEEKS 6 DAY OF PREGNANCY UNTIL 42 DAYS OF PUBLIC TIME Case Studies Conducted at the Independent Midwifery Practice of Ketut Susini, S.ST.Keb in 2026 ABSTRACT Maternal and child health is one of the indicators that is prioritized in the implementation of health development due to the high Maternal Mortality Rate and Infant Mortality Rate. One of the programs to reduce MMR and IMR is to provide continuous midwifery care. The purpose of this case study was to determine the results of care provided to mother "KD" from the second trimester of pregnancy to 42 days of postpartum. The case determination method used was through interviews, examinations, observations and documentation. Care was provided from October 2024 to April 2025. The development of mother "KD"'s pregnancy proceeded physiologically with an increase in the mother's weight of 15 kilograms during pregnancy. The mother gave birth vaginally without complications. The first stage lasted for 9 hours 15 minutes, the second stage 25 minutes, the third stage 10 minutes and monitoring of the fourth stage was within normal limits. The baby was born at 11.10 WITA, immediately cried, moved actively, had reddish skin and a birth weight of 3000 grams. During the postpartum period, the process of uterine involution, lochia discharge, lactation and psychological processes occur within normal limits. Midwifery care provided to the baby is in accordance with essential neonatal services. The growth and development of the baby are physiological. Midwives must always provide midwifery care according to standards because it is very important to monitor and detect complications in the process of pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and the baby.
