Abstract

NURSING CARE FOR BY. A WITH HYPERTHERMIA DUE TO FEBRILE SEIZURES IN THE CILINAYA WARD, MANGUSADA REGIONAL HOSPITAL ABSTRAK Febrile seizures are seizures that occur due to an increase in body temperature, especially when the rectal temperature exceeds 38℃, and this condition is triggered by processes outside the brain (extracranial). Hyperthermia is a condition where a person experiences an increase in body temperature above 36.5°C-37.5°C. This case report aims to address the problem of Hyperthermia due to Febrile Seizures in the Cilinaya Room of Mangusada Hospital. This scientific paper uses a descriptive case report method with a nursing process approach including assessment, diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation carried out on February 12-14, 2026. The sample of this case report is By.A with a medical diagnosis of febrile seizures. The results of the case report obtained By.A experienced febrile seizures, seizures with a duration of less than 1 minute with a body temperature of 38.10C. After being treated for 3 days with hyperthermia management nursing interventions, the hyperthermia problem was resolved. The evaluation results indicate that the established outcomes have been achieved. The conclusion of this case report is that nursing care can help address hyperthermia due to febrile seizures. Keywords : Nursing Care, Hyperthermia, Febrile seizures ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA BY.A DENGAN HIPERTERMIA AKIBAT KEJANG DEMAM DI RUANG CILINAYA RSD MANGUSADA ABSTRAK Kejang demam merupakan bangkitan kejang yang muncul akibat peningkatan suhu tubuh, khususnya ketika suhu rektal melebihi 38℃, dan kondisi ini dipicu oleh proses di luar otak (ekstrakranial. Hipertermia merupakan keadaan seseorang mengalami peningkatan suhu tubuh diatas 36,5°C-37,5°C. Laporan kasus ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi masalah Hipertermia akibat Kejang Demam di Ruang Cilinaya RSD Mangusada Karya tulis ilmiah ini menggunakan metode laporan kasus deskriptif dengan pendekatan proses keperawatan meliputi pengkajian, diagnosis, intervensi, implementasi, dan evaluasi yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 12 - 14 Februari 2026. Sampel laporan kasus ini adalah By.A dengan diagnosis medis kejang demam. Hasil laporan kasus yang didapatkan By.A mengalami kejang demam, kejang dengan durasi kurang dari 1 menit suhu tubuh 38,10C. Setelah dirawat selama 3 hari dengan intervensi keperawatan manajemen hipertermia, masalah hipertermia teratasi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukan telah tercapai, hal ini dibuktikan tercapainya luaran yang telah ditetapkan. Kesimpulan dari laporan kasus ini bahwa pemberian asuhan keperawatan dapat membantu dalam mengatasi masalah Hipertermia akibat Kejang Demam.
