Abstract
POST-OFF PERIOD MIDWIFERY CARE IN MOTHER “AF” AGED 28 YEARS MULTIGRAVIDA FROM GESTATIONAL AGE 20 WEEKS 2 DAYS TO 42 DAYS POSTPARTUM PERIOD ABSTRACT Pregnancy is a physiological process that is at risk of causing complications if optimal services are not received, thus contributing to the high Maternal Mortality Rate and Infant Mortality Rate. Therefore, comprehensive and continuous obstetric care (continuity of care) is needed. This study aims to determine the results of the implementation of comprehensive obstetric care in 28-year-old multigravida "AF" mothers from 20 weeks of gestation 2 days to 42 days postpartum period. The method used is a case study with a continuity of care approach through the study of subjective and objective data, observations, interviews, and documentation. Vaginal delivery mothers without complications. Period I lasts 3 hours from 4 cm cervical dilation, period II 20 minutes, period III 7 minutes and monitoring period IV within normal limits. The baby was born immediately crying, muscle tone was active, the skin was reddish and the birth weight was 3580 grams. The process of uterine involution, lochhea, psychology, and lactation during the postpartum period took place normally. The entire pregnancy process up to the postpartum period in the mother "AF" ran physiologically. The comprehensive and continuous application of obstetric care is effective in monitoring the condition of the mother and baby, increasing maternal knowledge, and preventing complications during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum period.
