Abstract

PENGARUH TIROGLOBULIN ANTIBODI TERHADAP PENGUKURAN TIROGLOBULIN METODE IRMA PADA PASIEN KANKER TIROID PASCA TERAPI RAI ABSTRAK Kanker tiroid merupakan salah satu keganasan endokrin dengan jumlah kasus yang terus meningkat, sehingga diperlukan evaluasi pascaterapi yang akurat, terutama setelah pasien menjalani terapi radioaktif iodium (RAI). Pemeriksaan tiroglobulin (Tg) menjadi biomarker utama untuk menilai keberhasilan terapi, namun keberadaan tiroglobulin antibodi (TgAb) berpotensi mengganggu akurasi hasil pengukuran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh TgAb terhadap hasil pengukuran Tg metode IRMA pada pasien kanker tiroid pasca terapi RAI di RSUD Bali Mandara. Penelitian menggunakan desain kuantitatif cross-sectional dengan teknik pengambilan sampel total sampling. Subjek penelitian pasien kanker tiroid pasca terapi RAI dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 31 orang. Pemeriksaan TgAb dilakukan dengan metode RIA dan Tg diperiksa dengan metode IRMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji statistik ANOVA regresi linier sederhana dengan hasil menunjukkan nilai F sebesar 0,018 dengan nilai p = 0,895 (p>0,05), yang berarti tidak terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara kadar TgAb terhadap hasil pengukuran Tg metode IRMA. Kesimpulan tidak terdapat pengaruh TgAb terhadap pengukuran Tg metode IRMA pada pasien kanker tiroid pasca terapi RAI di RSUD Bali Mandara. Kata kunci: Tiroglobulin; TgAb; IRMA; kanker tiroid. THE EFFECT OF THYROGLOBULIN ANTIBODY ON THYROGLOBULIN MEASUREMENT USING IRMA IN THYROID CANCER PATIENTS AFTER RAI THERAPY ABSTRACT Thyroid cancer is one of the most common endocrine malignancies, and its increasing incidence underscores the need for accurate post-therapy evaluation, particularly following radioactive iodine (RAI) therapy. Serum thyroglobulin (Tg) serves as a primary biomarker for assessing therapeutic success; however, the presence of thyroglobulin antibodies (TgAb) has the potential to interfere with the accuracy of the results. This study aimed to determine the effect of TgAb on Tg measurement results using the Immunoradiometric Assay (IRMA) method in thyroid cancer patients post-RAI therapy at RSUD Bali Mandara. A quantitative cross-sectional design was used with a total sampling technique. The study subjects were 31 thyroid cancer patients post-RAI therapy. TgAb was measured using the RIA method, and Tg was measured using the IRMA method. The statistical analysis using ANOVA and simple linear regression showed an F value of 0.018 with a p- value of 0.895 (p>0.05), indicating no significant effect of TgAb levels on Tg measurement results using the IRMA method. In conclusion, there is no effect of TgAb on Tg measurement using the IRMA method in thyroid cancer patients post- RAI therapy at RSUD Bali Mandara.
