Abstract

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN BLOOD PRESSURE AND URINE PROTEIN IN PREGNANT WOMEN IN THE THIRD TRIMESTER AT THE UPTD PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER BUSUNGBIU I ABSTRACT The maternal mortality rate (MMR) in Indonesia in 2023 will reach 4,129 cases. One of the causative factors is preeclampsia which is characterized by increased blood pressure and proteinuria. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between blood pressure and urine protein in third trimester pregnant women at Public Health Center Busungbiu I. This study used descriptive analytical methods with a cross-sectional approach. The research population was all third trimester pregnant women, totaling 34 people. The sampling technique uses total sampling. Blood pressure checks are carried out using a blood pressure monitor and stethoscope, while urine protein checks use the dipstick method. Most pregnant women in the third trimester are aged 21 to 35 years, 82.4%, with a maximum gestational age of 32-35 weeks, 70.6%. Most of them have a high school education, 85.3% and 76.5% have housewife jobs. 67.6% of pregnant women in the third trimester had normal blood pressure (≤120/80 mmHg), but there were still some who experienced increased blood pressure, namely prehypertension 26.5%, first grade hypertension 2.9%, second grade hypertension 2.9%. The results of urine protein examination showed that the majority of respondents had negative results, 70.6%, but there were also pregnant women with Trace (±) results of 20.6%, positive (1+) of 5.9% and positive and (2+) of 2.9. The results of statistical tests show that there is a very strong and significant relationship between blood pressure and urine protein in third trimester pregnant women, with a rho correlation coefficient (r) of 0.938 and a p-value of 0.00 (p < 0.05) which shows that there is a relationship between blood pressure and urine protein in third trimester pregnant women at the Public Health Center Busungbiu I. Salah satu factor penyebab nya adalah preeklampsia yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya tekanan darah dan adanya proteinuria. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tekanan darah dengan protein urine pada ibu hamil trimester III di UPTD Puskesmas Busungbiu I. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh ibu hamil trimester III yang berjumlah 34 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Pemeriksaan tekanan darah dilakukan dengan tensimeter dan stetoskop sedangkan pemeriksaan protein urine menggunakan metode dipstik. Ibu hamil trimester III paling banyak berusia 21 sampai 35 tahun 82.4%, dengan umur kehamilan paling banyak 32- 35 minggu 70.6%. Sebagian besar berpendidikan SMA 85.3% dan memiliki pekerjaan IRT (Ibu Rumah Tangga) 76.5%. Ibu hamil trimester III memiliki tekanan darah normal (≤120/80 mmHg) 67,6%, namun masih terdapat sebagian yang mengalami peningkatan tekanan darah yakni prehipertensi 26,5%, hipertensi tingkat satu 2,9%, hipertensi tingkat dua 2,9%. Hasil pemeriksaan protein urine menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden memiliki hasil negatif 70,6%, namun terdapat pula ibu hamil dengan hasil Trace (±) sebanyak 20,6%, positif (1+) sebesar 5,9% dan positif dan (2+) sebesar 2,9. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan ada hubungan yang sangat kuat dan signifikan antara tekanan darah dengan protein urine pada ibu hamil trimester III, dengan nilai koefisien korelasi rho (r) sebesar 0,938 dan pvalue sebesar 0,00 (p < 0,05) yang menunjukkan ada hubungan tekanan darah dengan protein urine pada ibu hamil trimester III di UPTD Puskesmas Busungbiu I.
