Abstract

Midwives have a role in caring for pregnant women in a comprehensive and sustainable manner. The purpose of this case study is to determine the application of services provided to mother “IW” from the second trimester of pregnancy until 42 days after delivery. Case determination was carried out by interview, observation, examination, and documentation. Care was provided from April to October 2024. Therapy was given according to the results of the collaboration. The pregnancy progressed physiologically. The mother gave birth to the baby normally without obstacles. The baby was born with a strong cry, reddish skin active muscle tone movements, and female sex. The mother received postpartum services four times including assessment of uterine involution, evaluation of lochia, lactation, and psychological changes as well as family planning services. The baby was given neonatal services three times. Complementary care was provided based on the needs of the mother and baby. Keywords: pregnancy, childbirth, puerperium, baby
