Abstract
Pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period are important stages in a woman's reproductive cycle that require continuous care to prevent complications. This case study aims to evaluate the Continuity of Care (CoC) provided to Mrs. MS, a 34-year-old multigravida, from 19 weeks and 2 days of pregnancy until 42 days postpartum. The pregnancy was categorized as low-risk, and the mother completed 11 antenatal visits, including assessments based on the 12 T components, which is inculeded in it , ultrasound scans, and mental health screening. Complaints such as lower back pain and side pain were managed using complementary care methods, including prenatal gentle yoga, effleurage massage, and pregnancy exercise. Labor progressed normally, with the active phase of the first stage lasting 5 hours, second stage 20 minutes, and third stage 10 minutes. A healthy baby girl was born. During the postpartum period, monitoring included lactation, uterine involution, and lochia, all of which remained within normal limits. The mother received education on postpartum danger signs, rest, contraception, Kegel exercises, and oxytocin massage. Newborn care included early initiation of breastfeeding (EIBF), administration of vitamin K, eye ointment, HB0 immunization, and baby massage. Three neonatal visits were carried out, covering physical examinations, baby massage, and BCG immunization. All care was delivered according to midwifery standards and proceeded physiologically without complications. The addition of evidence-based complementary care further improved the quality of services provided.
