Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF HEMOGLOBIN LEVELS IN TOUR GUIDES IN THE TRADITIONAL TOURIST VILLAGE OF PENGLIPURAN BANGLI ABSTRACT Background hemoglobin is a protein in the blood that plays an important role in transporting oxygen throughout the body. Hemoglobin levels can change due to environmental conditions, especially in the highlands which have lower oxygen pressure, so the body must adapt to meet oxygen needs. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of hemoglobin levels in tour guides in the Penglipuran Bangli Traditional Tourism Village. The research method is descriptive research, consisting of 18 respondents with saturated sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out by filling out questionnaires, and examining hemoglobin levels with the Point Of Care Testing (POCT) tool. The results of the study showed that out of 18 people, 72.22% of respondents were adults (19-44 years), 61.11% of respondents were female, 33.33% of respondents were active smokers, and 66.67% of respondents were passive smokers. Hemoglobin levels showed 55.55% in the high category and 44.44% in the normal category. High hemoglobin levels are mostly in the pre-elderly age (45-59 years) which is 16.66%, in male gender as much as 33.33% and female as much as 22.22%, in active smokers as much as 33.33% and passive smokers as much as 22.22%. The conclusion of this study is that most tour guides have high hemoglobin levels and tour guides are advised to improve healthy lifestyles, not to smoke and avoid direct exposure to cigarette smoke. Keywords: Hemoglobin levels, highlands GAMBARAN KADAR HEMOGLOBIN PADA PEMANDU WISATA DI DESA ADAT WISATA PENGLIPURAN BANGLI ABSTRAK Latar belakang hemoglobin merupakan protein dalam darah yang berperan penting dalam mengangkut oksigen ke seluruh tubuh. Kadar hemoglobin dapat mengalami perubahan akibat kondisi lingkungan, terutama di dataran tinggi yang memiliki tekanan oksigen lebih rendah, sehingga tubuh harus beradaptasi untuk mencukupi kebutuhan oksigen. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran kadar hemoglobin pada pemandu wisata di Desa Adat Wisata Penglipuran Bangli. Metode penelitian yaitu penelitian deskriptif, yang terdiri dari 18 responden dengan Teknik sampling jenuh. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pengisian kuesioner, dan pemeriksaan kadar hemoglobin dengan alat Point Of Care Testing (POCT). Hasil penelitian menunjukan dari 18 orang, 72,22% responden berusia dewasa (19-44 tahun), 61,11% responden berjenis kelamin perempuan, 33,33% responden dengan perokok aktif, dan 66,67% responden dengan perokok pasif. Kadar hemogloboin menunjukan 55,55% dengan kategori tinggi dan 44,44% dengan kategori normal. Kadar hemoglobin tinggi mayoritas pada usia pra lansia (45-59 tahun) yaitu 16,66%, pada jenis kelamin laki-laki sebanyak 33,33% dan perempuan sebanyak 22,22%, pada perokok aktif sebanyak 33,33% dan perokok pasif sebanyak 22,22%. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah sebagian besar pemandu wisata memiliki kadar hemoglobin tinggi dan pemandu wisata dianjurkan untuk meningktkan pola hidup sehat, tidak mengkonsumsi rokok dan menghindari paparan langsung dari asap rokok.
