Abstract

THE RELATIONSHIP OF FAMILY SUPPORT TO THE LEVEL OF CHEMOTHERAPY ANXIETY IN PATIENTS WITH MAMMARY CANCER AT RSUD BALI MANDARA ABSTRACT The incidence of breast cancer in Indonesia reached more than 22,000 cases of breast cancer in 2020. Breast cancer is a condition where abnormal cells grow malignantly in the breast tissue. Patient anxiety is a common psychological problem experienced by cancer patients, including Ca mammary patients. Family support is thought to play an important role in reducing anxiety. The purpose of the study was to analyze the relationship of family support to the levels of chemotherapy anxiety in patients with mammary cancer at Bali Mandara Hospital in 2025. The type of research used a cross-sectional quantitative design. The sample was 50 Ca mammary patients undergoing chemotherapy with inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the Spearman Rank correlation test to determine the relationship between family support variables and patient anxiety levels chemotherapy. The results showed that the majority of patients received family support in the moderate category (54.0%), while the anxiety level in ca mammary patients was also in the moderate category (40.0%). The statistical test results of correlation analysis resulted in a coefficient value of 0.596 with a p-value of 0.000. It was concluded that there was a significant negative relationship between family support and patient anxiety level. This means that the higher the family support received by the patient, the lower the anxiety level chemotherapy in ca mammary patients. These results are expected that medical personnel and families can increase family support to support the psychological well-being of patients. Keywords: family support, anxiety, chemotherapy HUBUNGAN DUKUNGAN KELUARGA TERHADAP TINGKAT KECEMASAN KEMOTERAPI PADA PASIEN CA MAMMAE DI RSUD BALI MANDARA ABSTRAK Angka kejadian kanker payudara di indonesia mencapai lebih dari 22.000 kasus kanker payudara pada tahun 2020. Kanker payudara adalah suatu kondisi dimana sel-sel abnormal tumbuh secara ganas di dalam jaringan payudara. Kecemasan pasien merupakan masalah psikologis yang umum dialami pasien kanker, termasuk pasien Ca mammae. Dukungan keluarga diduga berperan penting dalam mengurangi kecemasan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis hubungan dukungan keluarga terhadap tingkat kecemasan kemoterapi pada pasien Ca mammae di RSUD Bali Mandara tahun 2025. Jenis penelitian menggunakan desain kuantitatif cross-sectional. Sampel sebanyak 50 pasien Ca mammae yang menjalani kemoterapi dengan kriterian inklusi dan eksklusi. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman Rank untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variabel dukungan keluarga dan tingkat kecemasan kemoterapi pasien. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas pasien menerima dukungan keluarga dalam kategori sedang (54,0%), sedangkan tingkat kecemasan pada pasien ca mammae terbanyak juga dalam kategori sedang (40,0%). Hasil uji statistik analisis korelasi menghasilkan nilai koefisien sebesar -0,596 dengan p-value 0,000. Disimpulkan bahwa adanya hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara dukungan keluarga dan tingkat kecemasan pasien. Artinya, semakin tinggi dukungan keluarga yang diterima pasien, semakin rendah tingkat kecemasan kemoterapi pada pasien ca mammae. Hasil ini diharapkan tenaga medis dan keluarga dapat meningkatkan dukungan keluarga untuk mendukung kesejahteraan psikologis pasien. Kata kunci: Dukungan keluarga, kecemasan, kemoterapi
