Abstract

NURSING CARE FOR AN. M WITH HYPERTHERMIA DUE TO DENGUE HAEMORRHAGIC FEVER (DHF) IN THE BAKAS ROOM OF THE HOSPITAL KLUNGKUNG ABSTRACT According to data from the Bali Provincial Health Office in 2024, there will be 15,179 cases of DHF with 25 cases leading to death (Bali Provincial Health Office, 2025). Hyperthermia is a condition in which a person experiences an increase in body temperature above 36.5°C-37.5°C. (SDKI DPP PPNI Working Group Team, 2017). Hyperthermia in children often occurs, nurses usually take various actions to reduce fever, one of which is by compressing (Sumakul and Lariwu, 2022). The sample in this case report was a DHF patient who met the inclusion criteria, who was treated for 5 days. Case reports are presented descriptively to be able to describe the nursing process as a whole. The results of the study were found in the form of the main complaint of fever since 4 days ago, complaining of nausea and abdominal pain. The nursing diagnosis identified was DHF-induced hyperthermia (D.0130). The interventions provided are hyperthermia management, cold compresses and thermoregulatory education. The implementation was carried out for five days to get the results of the thermoregulation evaluation improved. From the case report, it was concluded that nursing care can help in overcoming the problem of hyperthermia in DHF patients. Keywords: Nursing Care, Hyperthermia, DHF ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA AN.M DENGAN HIPERTERMIA AKIBAT DENGUE HAEMORRHAGIC FEVER (DHF) DI RUANG BAKAS RSUD KLUNGKUNG ABSTRAK Menurut data Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Bali pada tahun 2024, pada kasus DHF terdapat 15.179 kasus dengan 25 kasus diantaranya berujung pada kematian (Dinkes Provinsi Bali, 2025). Hipertermia merupakan keadaan seseorang mengalami peningkatan suhu tubuh diatas 36,5°C-37,5°C. (Tim Pokja SDKI DPP PPNI, 2017). Hipertermia pada anak seringkali terjadi, perawat biasanya melakukan berbagai Tindakan untuk penurunan demam salah satunya yaitu dengan cara kompres (Sumakul and Lariwu, 2022). Sampel pada laporan kasus ini adalah seorang penderita DHF yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi, yang dirawat selama 5 hari. Laporan kasus disajikan secara deskriptif untuk bisa menggambarkan proses keperawatan secara utuh. Hasil pengkajian ditemukan berupa keluhan utama demam sejak 4 hari yang lalu, mengeluh mual dan nyeri perut. Diagnosis keperawatan yang diidentifikasi adalah hipertermia akibat DHF (D.0130). Intervensi yang diberikan yaitu manajemen hipertermia, kompres dingin dan edukasi termoregulasi. Implementasi dilakukan selama lima hari mendapatkan hasil evaluasi termoregulasi membaik. Dari laporan kasus tersebut disimpulkan bahwa asuhan keperawatan dapat membantu dalam mengatasi masalah hipertermia pada pasien DHF. Kata Kunci: Asuhan Keperawatan, Hipertermia, DHF
