Abstract

ABSTRAK Kanker payudara adalah penyakit yang berawal dari jaringan payudara, di mana sel-sel mengalami pertumbuhan yang tidak terkendali. Kanker payudara merupakan jenis kanker yang paling sering ditemukan pada wanita, dan menjadi faktor kematian tertinggi kedua akibat kanker di seluruh dunia. Pasien kanker kerap mengalami berbagai tantangan fisik, psikologis, dan emosional. Regulasi emosi dan resiliensi merupakan dua aspek psikologis yang penting dalam memahami penderita kanker. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan regulasi emosi dengan tingkat resiliensi pada pasien kanker payudara di RSUD Bali Mandara Tahun 2025. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan Teknik Consecutive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 70 orang penderita kanker payudara. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa kuisioner regulasi emosi (ERQ) yang disusun oleh Gross dan John (2003) dan skala resiliensi (CD-RISC) yang disusun oleh Connor-Davidson (2003) yang telah diterjemahkan kedalam Bahasa Indonesia. Berdasarkan hasil korelasi dengan uji Rank Spearman didapatkan nilai signifikansi 0,025 (p < α = 0,05) dan nilai koefisien korelasi (r) = 0,268. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan regulasi emosi dengan tingkat resiliensi pada pasien kanker payudara di RSUD Bali Mandara Tahun 2025. Semakin tinggi regulasi emosi maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat resiliensi pada pasien kanker payudara. Kata Kunci : regulasi emosi, resiliensi, kanker payudara ABSTRACT Breast cancer is a disease that starts in breast tissue, where cells experience uncontrolled growth. Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer found in women, and is the second highest cause of death from cancer worldwide. Cancer patients often experience various physical, psychological, and emotional challenges. Emotional regulation and resilience are two important psychological aspects in understanding cancer patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between emotional regulation and resilience levels in breast cancer patients at Bali Mandara Hospital in 2025. This type of research is quantitative research. Sampling used a purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 70 breast cancer patients. The data collection instruments were in the form of an emotional regulation questionnaire (ERQ) compiled by Gross and John (2003) and a resilience scale (CD-RISC) compiled by Connor-Davidson (2003) which has been translated into Indonesian. Based on the results of the correlation with the Spearman Rank test, a significance value of 0.025 (p < α = 0,05) and a correlation coefficient value (r) = 0.268 were obtained. This shows that there is a relationship between emotional regulation and the level of resilience in breast cancer patients at Bali Mandara Hospital in 2025.
