Abstract

Nursing Care For Children G With Hyperthermia Due To Dhf (Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever) In The Cilinaya Room Rsd Mangusada In 2025 ABSTRACT Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) remains a major public health problem in Indonesia. Children are a vulnerable group, with hyperthermia as one of the main clinical manifestations. Untreated hyperthermia can lead to serious complications such as seizures and neurological disorders. To describe nursing care for a pediatric patient with hyperthermia due to DHF in Cilinaya Ward at Mangusada Regional Hospital. This case study applied a descriptive approach to one child aged 11 months experiencing hyperthermia due to DHF. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation. Nursing interventions focused on hyperthermia management, including non-pharmacological measures such as warm compresses. After 5 days of intervention (5x24 hours), the patient's body temperature decreased from 40℃ to 37.8℃. Although hyperthermia was not fully resolved, there was an overall improvement in the patient's condition. Nursing care focusing on hyperthermia management, particularly through the application of warm compresses, was effective in reducing body temperature in children with DHF. Continuous evaluation is necessary to prevent further complications. Keywords : Nursing Care, Hyperthermia, Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA ANAK G DENGAN HIPERTERMIA AKIBAT DHF (DENGUE HAEMORRHAGIC FEVER) DI RUANG CILINAYA RSD MANGUSADA TAHUN 2025 ABSTRAK Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan penyakit infeksi akut yang masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia. Anak-anak merupakan kelompok yang rentan, dengan hipertermia sebagai salah satu manifestasi klinis utama. Hipertermia yang tidak ditangani secara tepat dapat memicu komplikasi serius seperti kejang dan gangguan neurologis. Menjelaskan asuhan keperawatan pada pasien anak dengan hipertermia akibat DBD di Ruang Cilinaya RSD Mangusada. Studi kasus ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif pada satu pasien anak berusia 11 bulan yang mengalami hipertermia akibat DBD. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Intervensi keperawatan difokuskan pada manajemen hipertermia termasuk tindakan nonfarmakologis seperti kompres hangat. Setelah implementasi intervensi selama 5 hari (5x24 jam), terjadi penurunan suhu tubuh dari 40℃ menjadi 37,8℃. Meskipun hipertermia belum sepenuhnya teratasi, terdapat perbaikan kondisi umum pasien. Asuhan keperawatan yang terfokus pada manajemen hipertermia, terutama penggunaan kompres hangat, efektif dalam menurunkan suhu tubuh pada anak dengan DBD. Diperlukan evaluasi berkelanjutan untuk mencegah komplikasi lebih lanjut. Keywords: Asuhan Keperawatan, Hipertermia, DHF
