Abstract

A restaurant is a commercial business whose scope of activity is providing food and drinks to the public. Sanitation is a disease prevention strategy based on environmental health activities. Therefore, sanitation is a health effort by maintaining and protecting the cleanliness of the environment of the subject. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between food hygiene and sanitation knowledge of food vendors with the sanitation conditions of food stalls in the UPTD area of Abiansemal III Health Center, Badung Regency Health Service. This research is observational analytic using a cross-sectional approach. The results of research using the chi square test showed that the asymp.sig (2-sided) value was 0.001 < 0.05. So it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on these results, it can be stated that there is a relationship between traders' food sanitation hygiene knowledge and the sanitation conditions of food stalls in the UPTD area of Abiansemal III Health Center, Badung District Health Service. Because traders still lack knowledge regarding food sanitation hygiene, traders must increase their knowledge regarding food sanitation hygiene so that the sanitary condition of food stalls becomes better. Rumah makan adalah usaha komersial yang ruang lingkup kegiatannya menyediakan makanan dan minuman untuk umum diusahanya. Sanitasi merupakan strategi pencegahan penyakit berbasis kegiatan kesehatan lingkungan. Sanitasi adalah upaya kesehatan dengan cara memelihara dan melindungi kebersihan lingkungan dari subyeknya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Hubungan Pengetahuan Hygiene Sanitasi Makanan Pedagang Dengan Keadaan Sanitasi Warung Makan Di Wilayah UPTD Puskesmas Abiansemal III Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Badung. Penelitian ini bersifat observasional analitik dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross�sectional. Hasil penelitian dengan uji chi square didapatkan nilai asymp.sig (2- sided) 0,001 < 0,05. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat dinyatakan bahwa ada hubungan pengetahuan hygiene sanitasi makanan pedagang dengan keadaan sanitasi warung makan di wilayah UPTD Puskesmas Abiansemal III Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Badung. Karena pengetahuan pedagang masih kurang mengenai hygiene sanitasi makanan maka pedagang harus meningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai hygiene sanitasi makanan sehingga keadaan sanitasi warung makan menjadi lebih baik.
