Abstract
Abstract. Risk control and environmental sanitation at the port are steps that must be taken. The Denpasar BBKK activity report on the lipas vector survey service at Gilimanuk Port for the period January to June 2023 found the presence of cockroaches with a density index of 0 to 0.01. This study aims to analyze the factors associated with the presence of cockroaches in Gilimanuk Port. This study used observational analytic research with a cross-sectional survey method to determine the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable. Sample collection with total sampling on 40 buildings in the operational area of Gilimanuk Port. The results showed that there was a relationship between building temperature and the presence of cockroaches in Gilimanuk Harbor with a significance value of 0.000. The relationship between building humidity and the presence of cockroaches with a significance value of 0.034. Building sanitation conditions are also associated with the presence of cockroaches in Gilimanuk Harbor with a significance value of 0.000. Finally, there is a relationship between cockroach control efforts carried out in buildings and the presence of cockroaches in Gilimanuk Harbor with a significance value of 0.000.
