Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Masalah kesehatan demam merupakan kondisi meningkatnya suhu tubuh di atas normal yaitu >37,50C dimana salah satu penyakit dengan demam tinggi adalah tifoid. Salah satu masalah yang timbul pada pasien tifoid yaitu hipertermi. Hipertermi merupakan suatu keadaan dimana seorang individu mengalami peningkatan suhu tubuh diatas 37,5℃ peroral atau 38℃ sehingga hipertermi harus segera ditangani salah satunya dengan metode nonfarmakologi yaitu kompres bawang merah untuk membantu menurunkan suhu tubuh melalui proses evaporasi. Tujuan Karya Ilmiah Akhir: untuk memberikan asuhan keperawatan pada pasien tifoid dengan diagnosa hipertermi melalui pemberian kompres bawang merah di ruang Rumah Sakit Bali Mandara Prov Bali. Metode: metode menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil Karya Ilmiah Akhir: Hasil Karya Ilmiah Akhir Ners ini menunjukan bahwa pada pasien tifoid setelah diberikan kompres bawang merah, terjadi penurunan suhu yang signifikan dimana pada pasien Ny. N dari suhu 39,50C menjadi 38,90C. Kesimpulan: Pemberian teknik kompres bawang merah dapat menurunkan suhu tubuh secara signifikan sehingga diharapkan keluarga dapat melanjutkan pemberian kompres bawang merah apabila ada keluarga mengalami demam ketika di rumah. One of the problems that arise in typhoid patients is hyperthermia. Hyperthermia is a condition where an individual experiences an increase in body temperature above 37.5℃ orally or 38℃ so hyperthermia must be treated immediately, one of which is by non-pharmacological methods, namely onion compresses to help reduce body temperature through the evaporation process. Final Scientific Work Objective: to provide nursing care to typhoid patients diagnosed with hyperthermia by administering shallot compresses in the Bali Mandara Hospital, Bali Province Method: method using a case study approach. Final Scientific Work Results: The results of this Ners' Final Scientific Work show that in typhoid patients after being given onion compresses, there was a significant decrease in temperature where in the patient Mrs. N from a temperature of 39.50C to 38.90C. Conclusion: Giving the onion compress technique can reduce body temperature significantly so it is hoped that families can continue giving onion compresses if someone in the family experiences a fever at home.
