Abstract

ABSTRACT Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a public health problem that often occurs in tropical and subtropical areas. Vector control can be carried out by breaking the vector transmission chain and involving the community with various control methods. One method of controlling mosquito vectors recommended by WHO is a mosquito egg trap or ovitrap. The research was conducted to find out which concentration variations have the greatest influence on the Aedes ovitrap index value so that it becomes the basis for vector control using the ovitrap. The results of calculating the positive value on the ovitrap with various concentrations showed that the highest positive ovitrap result was at a concentration of 10% with a value of 16 and the lowest value was at a concentration of 50% with a positive value of 6. The statistical test results used were the Kruskall-Wallis test and the Mann-Whitney test. The results of the Kruskall-Wallis test obtained a p-value of 0.004 which shows that there is an influence of a mixture of corn husk attractant and palm sugar on the Aedes ovitrap index value. It is hoped that the community will always monitor the presence of larvae in every existing water reservoir twice a week and implement PSN practices at home. Keywords: Attractant, Ovitrap, Ovitrap index. ABSTRAK Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang banyak terjadi pada daerah tropis dan subtropis. Pengendalian vektor dapat dilakukan dengan memutuskan rantai tular vektor serta melibatkan masyarakat dengan berbagai metode pengendalian. Salah satu metode pengendalian vektor nyamuk yang disarankan WHO adalah perangkap telur nyamuk atau ovitrap. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui dari variasi kosentrasi mana yang paling berpengaruh terhadap nilai indeks ovitrap aedes sehingga menjadi dasar dalam pengendalian vektor menggunakan ovitrap. Hasil perhitungan nilai positif pada ovitrap dengan berbagai kosentrasi didapatkan hasil ovitrap positif nilai tertinggi pada kosentrasi 10% dengan nilai 16 dan nilai rendah pada kosentrasi 50% dengan nilai positif 6. Hasil uji statistik yang digunakan adalah uji Kruskall-Wallis dan uji Mann-Whitney. Hasil uji Kruskall-Wallis didapatkan p-value 0.004 yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh campuran atraktan kulit jagung dan gula aren terhadap nilai indeks ovitrap aedes. Diharapkan masyarakat untuk selalu memantau keberadaan jentik disetiap penampungan air yang ada 2 kali seminggu dan menerapkan praktik PSN di rumah. Kata Kunci : Atraktan, Ovitrap, Ovitrap indeks.
