Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION OF SPECIFIC NUTRITION EDUCATION FOR MOTHERS WITH KNOWLEDGE DEFICITS: NUTRITION OF STUNTED CHILDREN AT THE WEST DENPASAR COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER I ABSTRACK Indonesia is currently facing nutritional balance issues that negatively impact the quality of human resources. One of the main issues is the high rate of stunting in children under five. The level of understanding of mothers has a significant role in the incidence of stunting. In order to increase mothers' knowledge to prevent stunting, specific nutrition education is needed. How to implement specific nutrition education for mothers. The goal is to find out how to implement specific nutrition education in mothers with knowledge deficits and at the same time increase mothers knowledge. The methods used for data collection in this study are interview and observation methods. At the assessment Mrs. A said she did not know more details related to what happened to her child's condition and asked about the problems her child was experiencing, the diagnosis formulated was the nutritional knowledge deficit of stunting children, the intervention in this study was specific nutrition education, the implementation was carried out in three times for forty minutes, the evaluation results proved that the mother understood and was able to explain the material provided again. The conclusion obtained after a series of nursing care was carried out that the implementation of specific nutrition education in mothers was effectively used to increase maternal knowledge while overcoming the knowledge deficit about nutrition for stunted children in mothers. Keywords : Stunting, Mother’s Knowledge, Children’s Nutrition Education IMPLEMENTASI EDUKASI GIZI SPESIFIK PADA IBU DENGAN DEFISIT PENGETAHUAN : NUTRISI ANAK STUNTING DI PUSKESMAS DENPASAR BARAT I ABSTRAK Indonesia kini menghadapi masalah keseimbangan nutrisi yang berdampak negatif pada kualitas sumber daya manusia. Salah satu isu utama adalah tingginya angka stunting pada anak balita. Tingkat pemahaman ibu memiliki peran yang cukup besar pada kejadian stunting. Guna meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu untuk mencegah stunting perlu dilakukan edukasi gizi spesifik. Bagaimana cara melakukan implementasi edukasi gizi spesifik pada ibu. Tujuannya yaitu mengetahui bagaimana cara implementasi edukasi gizi spesifik pada ibu dengan defisit pengetahuan dan sekaligus meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu. Metode yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data dalam studi ini adalah metode wawancara dan observasi. Pada pengkajian Ny. A mengatakan tidak mengetahui lebih detail terkait apa yang terjadi pada kondisi anaknya dan menanyakan terkait masalah yang sedang dialami anaknya, diagnosis yang dirumuskan yaitu defisit pengetahauan nutrisi anak stunting, intervensi pada penelitian ini yaitu edukasi gizi spesifik, implementasi dilakukan dalam tiga kali selama empat puluh menit, hasil evaluasi membuktikan bahwa ibu memahami dan mampu menjelaskan kembali materi yang diberikan. Kesimpulan yang didapat setelah serangkaian asuhan keperawatan dilakukan bahwa implementasi edukasi gizi spesifik pada ibu efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu sekaligus mengatasi defisit pengetahuan tentang nutrisi anak stunting pada ibu.
