Abstract

IMPLEMENTASI LATIHAN PERNAPASAN PURSED LIPS BREATHING PADA PASIEN PPOK DENGAN POLA NAPAS TIDAK EFEKTIF DI RSUD KLUNGKUNG TAHUN 2024 ABSTRAK Penyakit Paru Obstruktif Kronik (PPOK) adalah kondisi kronis pada saluran napas yang ditandai dengan gejala pernapasan persisten dan keterbatasan aliran udara khususnya udara ekspirasi dan bersifat progresif lambat (semakin lama semakin memburuk) yang disebabkan oleh paparan signifikan terhadap partikel atau gas berbahaya yang menyebabkan penderitanya sulit untuk bernapas. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui implementasi latihan pernapasan pursed lips breathing pada pasien PPOK dengan pola napas tidak efektif di RSUD Klungkung. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif naratif dengan desain studi kasus. Subjek studi kasus merupakan satu pasien PPOK yang mengalami masalah keperawatan pola napas tidak efektif dengan melakukan latihan pernapasan pursed lips breathing sebanyak tiga kali dalam sehari (pagi, siang, sore) dengan durasi waktu 10 menit dalam satu kali latihan dan dilaksanakan selama tiga hari berturut-turut. Didapatkan hasil sebelum dan setelah diberikan pursed lips breathing selama tiga hari pasien mengalami penurunan frekuensi napas dari 28x/menit menjadi 20x/menit dan peningkatan saturasi oksigen dari 94% menjadi 98%. Setelah dilakukan penerapan pursed lips breathing didapatkan adanya penurunan frekuensi napas dan peningkatan saturasi oksigen pada pasien. Tindakan pursed lips breathing ini efektif dilakukan untuk pasien PPOK dengan pola napas tidak efektif. Kata Kunci : PPOK, Pursed Lips Breathing, Pola Napas Tidak Efektif IMPLEMENTATION OF PURSED LIPS BREATHING EXERCISES IN COPD PATIENTS WITH INEFFECTIVE BREATHING PATTERNS AT KLUNGKUNG HOSPITAL YEAR 2024 ABSTRACT Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a chronic condition of the airway characterized by persistent respiratory symptoms and limited airflow, especially expiratory air, and is slowly progressive (getting worse and worse) caused by significant exposure to harmful particles or gases that make it difficult for sufferers to breathe. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of pursed lips breathing exercises in COPD patients with ineffective breathing patterns at Klungkung Hospital. This research method is a narrative descriptive method with a case study design. The subject of the case study was one COPD patient who experienced nursing problems with ineffective breathing patterns by doing pursed lips breathing exercises three times a day (morning, afternoon, evening) with a duration of 10 minutes in one exercise and carried out for three consecutive days. Results before and after pursed lips breathing for three days decreased breathing frequency from 28x/minute to 20x/minute and increased oxygen saturation from 94% to 98%. After the application of pursed lips breathing, there was a decrease in breathing frequency and an increase in oxygen saturation in patients.
