Abstract

RELATIONSHIP OF TREATMENT TO DRINKING WATER QUALITY OF REFILL DEPOTS IN SIDAKARYA AREA OF DENPASAR ABSTRACT Drinks that are not of good quality are drinks that are contaminated with bacteria, one of which is Escherichia Coli bacteria or what is usually called E. Coli. E. Coli bacteria can harm human health. Safe drinking water consumption is according to Minister of Health Regulation no. 429/MENKES/PER/IV/2010 concerning drinking water quality requirements which states that the limit for Coliform and Escherichia coli contamination is a maximum of 0/100 ml of sample. Objective: This research is to determine whether there is a relationship between processing and the quality of drinking water at refill depots in the Sidakarya Denpasar area. Method: This type of research is quantitative with a cross-sectional design with the number of samples used being 10 samples with a random sampling technique. This research data was collected from the results of the Most Probable Number examination with variety 5.1.1. Results: The results of this study were 3 samples from refill drinking water depots positive for Escherichia coli contamination, and 4 samples from refill drinking water depots positive for Coliform contamination, which means the drinking water is not suitable for consumption. Conclusion: Based on the results of the Chi-Square test, a sig value of 0.33<0.05 was obtained, which means that there is a relationship between processing and the quality of the refill depot drinking water. Keywords: Refill depot, Bacteriological, MPN HUBUNGAN PENGOLAHAN TERHADAP KUALITAS AIR MINUM DEPOT ISI ULANG DI WILAYAH SIDAKARYA DENPASAR ABSTRAK Minuman yang tidak berkualitas adalah minuman yang tercemar bakteri salah satunya yaitu bakteri Eschericihia Coli atau yang biasa disebut E. Coli. Bakteri E. Coli dapat membahayakan kesehatan manusia. Komsumsi air minum yang aman yaitu menurut Permenkes No. 429/MENKES/PER/IV/2010 tentang persyaratan kulitas air minum yang menyatakan batas cemaran Coliform dan Escherichia coli maksimal 0/100 ml sampel Tujuan: Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan pengolahan terhadap kualitas air minum depot isi ulang di Wilayah Sidakarya Denpasar. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional dengan jumlah sampel yang digunakan yaitu 10 sampel dengan teknik pengambilan sampel random sampling. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini dari hasil pemeriksaan Most Probable Number dengan ragam 5.1.1. Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini 3 sampel depot air minum isi ulang positif terhadap cemaran Escherichia coli, dan 4 sampel depot air minum isi ulang positif terhadap cemaran Coliform yang artinya air minum tersebut tidak layak dikomsumsi. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan hasil uji Chi-Square diperoleh nilai sig 0,33<0,05 yang artinya terdapat hubungan pengolahan dengan kualitas air minum depot isi ulang.
