Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF SEX NEEDS IN ELDERLY IN BANJAR AMBENGAN WORKING AREA UPTD PUSKESMAS IV DENPASAR SOUTH IN 2023 ABSTRACT Elderly (elderly) is someone who enters the age of 60 years and over has entered the final stages of the life phase and will experience a process, namely the aging process. The aim is to identify a picture of the need for sex in the elderly in Banjar Ambengan, the working area of the UPTD Puskesmas IV South Denpasar, in 2023. Sexuality is an important component of individual identity, where sexuality helps shape individual physical, social, emotional and intellectual responses (Reeder & Martin, 2013). The type of research used is descriptive research. good satisfaction by 21 respondents (36.8%), sufficient satisfaction by 20 respondents (35.0%), and less satisfaction by 16 respondents (28.2%), good communication by 8 respondents (14.0%), sufficient communication by 32 respondents (56.2%) , and lack of communication by 17 respondents (29.8%), good match by 18 respondents (31.5%), sufficient match by 32 respondents (56.3%), lack of match by 7 respondents (12.5%). It is hoped that the results of this study can be developed by further researchers, by developing questionnaire questions to make them more general, adding inclusion and exclusion criteria, and conducting research in different places. Keywords: Sexual Health, Elderly vi GAMBARAN KEBUTUHAN SEKS PADA LANSIA DI BANJAR AMBENGAN WILAYAH KERJA UPTD PUSKESMAS IV DENPASAR SELATAN TAHUN 2023 ABSTRAK Lansia (lanjut usia) adalah seseorang yang memasuki umur 60 tahun keatas telah memasuki tahapan akhir fase kehidupan dan akan mengalami suatu proses yakni proses penuaan. Untuk mengidentifikasi gambaran kebutuhan seks pada lansia di Banjar Ambengan Wilayah Kerja UPTD Puskesmas IV Denpasar Selatan Tahun 2023. Seksualitas adalah komponen penting dalam identitas individu, dimana seksualitas membantu membentuk respon fisik, social, emosional dan intelektual individu. Populasi digunakan sebanyak 57 lansia. Sampel bagian dari orang – orang dengan sifat tertentu yang diambil dari populasi. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan teknik purposive sampling. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, kepuasan sebanyak 21 responden (36.8%), komunikasi sebanyak 8 responden (14.0%), kecocokan sebanyak 18 responden (31.5%). Penelitian ini usia 60-65 tahun 24 responden (42.2%), perempuan 30 responden (53.0%), kepuasan 21 responden (36.8%), komunikasi 32 responden (56.2%), dan kecocokan 32 responden (56.3%).
