Abstract
THE DESCRIPTION OF URIC ACID LEVELS IN SOCIETIES OF PRODUCTIVE AGE AT GRIYA ALAM FAJAR HOUSING ABIANSEMAL, BADUNG ABSTRACT Background: Uric acid is the end product of catabolism or breakdown. In general, uric acid increases with age, but not only often afflicts old age, this disease is also found among young people who can suffer from gout due to an unhealthy lifestyle. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of uric acid levels in people of productive age in Griya Alam Fajar Housing, Abiansemal, Badung. Purpose : To determine the description of uric acid levels in societies of productive age at Griya Alam Fajar Housing, Abiansemal, Badung. Methods: This research is a descriptive type of research. The research sample was 40 people of productive, the sampling technique used was purposive sampling method. Results: Based on the characteristics of the respondents, most were found in the adolescent category by 32.5%, most of them were male, namely 52.5%, with a normal BMI category of 70%, and did not consume alcohol as much as 62.5%. The results showed that 5% of respondents had low uric acid levels, 67.5% of respondents had normal uric acid levels, and 27.5% of respondents had high uric acid levels. Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that high uric acid levels occur in elderly respondents, have an overweight BMI and consume alcoholic beverages. Suggestion: for societies have high uric acid levels should maintain a healthy lifestyle such as consuming healthy food, do regular exercise Keywords : uric acid levels, productive age GAMBARAN KADAR ASAM URAT PADA MASYARAKAT USIA PRODUKTIF DI PERUMAHAN GRIYA ALAM FAJAR, ABIANSEMAL, BADUNG ABSTRAK Latar belakang: Asam urat ini merupakan hasil akhir dari katabolisme atau pemecahan. Pada umumnya asam urat meningkat seiring bertambahnya usia, namun tidak hanya sering menimpa usia tua, penyakit ini juga terdapat dikalangan usia muda dapat menderita penyakit asam urat dikarenakan pola hidup yang kurang sehat. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui gambaran kadar asam urat pada masyarakat usia produktif di Perumahan Griya Alam Fajar, Abiansemal, Badung. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskritif. Sampel penelitian adalah 40 orang usia produktif, teknik sampling yang digunakan purposive sampling. Hasil: Berdasarkan karakteristik responden didapatkan paling banyak pada kategori remaja dengan 32,5%, sebagian besar dengan berjenis kelamin laki – laki yaitu sebesar 52,5%, dengan kategori IMT normal sebesar 70%, serta tidak mengkonsumsi minuman berakohol sebanyak 62,5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 5% responden memiliki kadar asam urat rendah, 67,5% responden memiliki kadar asam urat normal, dan 27,5% responden memiliki kadar asam urat tinggi. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kadar asam urat tinggi terjadi pada responden lansia, memiliki IMT overweight dan mengkonsumsi minuman berakohol. Saran: Masyarakat yang memiliki kadar asam urat tinggi sebaiknya lebih menjaga pola hidup yang sehat seperti mengkonsumsi makanan yang sehat, melalukan olahraga rutin Kata kunci: Kadar asam urat, usia produktif
