Abstract

OVERWIEW OF URIC ACID LEVELS IN ADOLESCENT BOYS WITH ARAK CONSUMPTION HABITS IN SINGAPADU VILLAGE SUKAWATI DISTRICT GIANYAR REGENCY ABSTRACT Uric acid is the final substance of purines metabolism in the body. Abnormalities in uric acid levels occur if high uric acid levels of more than 7 mg/ dL for men and 6 mg/dL for women. Generally this disease attacks the elderly but it is undeniable that it can also occur in adolescents with an unhealthy lifestyle, one of which is the habit of consuming alcoholic beverages such as arak. Arak is a type of liquor that contains alcohol with a content of 32.0%.The purpose of this study is to find out the overview of uric acid levels in adolescent boys with wine consumption habits in Singapadu Village,Sukawati District,Gianyar Regency. This study was conducted in December 2021-May 2022. The type of research used in this study is descriptive to find out the overview of uric acid levels in adolescent boys in Singapadu Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency. The research sampling was conducted on a population of adolescents aged 17-20 years who had a habit of consume arak which amounted to 30 samples use the POCT method. Based on the results of the examination of uric acid levels in adolescents in Singapadu Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency, 30 samples were obtained as many as 22 people (73%) who increased while the normal ones were 8 people (27%). To avoid high uric acid levels in adolescents it is recommended that adolescents get used to a healthy lifestyle andreduce the consumption of arak. Keywords : Gout, Adolescents, Arak GAMBARAN KADAR ASAM URAT PADA REMAJA LAKI-LAKI DENGAN KEBIASAAN KONSUMSI ARAK DI DESA SINGAPADU KECAMATAN SUKAWATI KABUPATEN GIANYAR ABSTRAK Asam urat merupakan substansi akhir dari metabolisme purin di dalam tubuh. Kelainan kadar asam urat terjadi jika kadar asam urat tinggi lebih dari 7 mg/dL untuk pria dan 6 mg/dL untuk wanita. Umumnya penyakit ini menyerang pada lansia namun tidak dipungkiri juga bisa terjadi pada remaja dengan pola hidup tidak sehat salah satunya kebiasaan konsumsi minuman beralkohol seperti arak. Arak merupakan salah satu jenis minuman keras yang mengandung alkohol dengan kadar 32,0%.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran kadar asam urat pada remaja laki-laki dengan kebiasaan konsumsi arak di Desa Singapadu Kecamatan Sukawati Kabupaten Gianyar. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Desember 2021-Mei 2022. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah secara deskriptif yaitu untuk mengetahui gambaran kadar asam urat pada remaja laki-laki Di Desa Singapadu Kecamatan Sukawati Kabupaten Gianyar. Pengambilan sampel penelitian dilakukan pada populasi remaja berusia 17-20 tahun yang memiliki kebiasaan konsumsi arak berjumlah 30 sampel dengan menggunakan metode POCT.Berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan kadar asam urat pada remaja di Desa Singapadu Kecamatan Sukawati Kabupaten Gianyar terhadap 30 sampel diperoleh hasil sebanyak 22 orang (73%) yang tinggi sedangkan yang normal sebanyak 8 orang (27%). Untuk menghindari tingginya kadar asam urat pada remaja disarankan agar para remaja membiasakan pola hidup yang sehat dan mengurangi konsumsi arak. Kata Kunci : Asam urat, Remaja, Arak
