Abstract

INTAKE OF PROTEIN AND OMEGA 3 FATTY ACIDS, Hb LEVELS AND OXYGEN SATURATION LEVELS OF COVID-19 PATIENTS AT NUSA PENIDA HOSPITAL ABSTRACK Corona Virus or severe acute respiratory syndrome corona virus (SARS-CoV-2) is a virus that attacks the respiratory system that causes disorders of the respiratory system, acute pneumonia. In Klungkung Regency in 2021, the total corona cases reached 438 people with 385 recovered cases and an increase to 3,920 people. The purpose of this observation is to determine the consumption of nutrients, Hb levels and oxygen saturation levels of patients with COVID-19 at the Nusa Penida Hospital. The type of observation is a descriptive case study with a cross sectional design. The observation sample was 35 people. This observation was carried out for two months, from March to April 2022. Data is collected indirectly or from secondary data. Data is presented with distribution table and cross table. Based on the observations, the most protein intake was in the good category, 21 people (60%). The most observation results were intake of omega 3 fatty acids in the good category of 25 people (71%). The highest Hb levels were in the normal category as many as 25 people (71%) while the highest oxygen saturation levels were in the normal category as many as 34 people (97%). Based on the results of protein intake, both dominantly have normal Hb levels as many as 20 people (57.2%). For the results of the intake of omega 3 fatty acids, both dominant and have normal oxygen saturation levels, namely 25 people (71.4%). Meanwhile, samples with normal Hb levels had normal oxygen saturation levels as many as 24 people (68.6%). Keywords: intake of protein and omega 3 fatty acids, covid-19
