Abstract

RELATIONSHIP OF INFORMATION SOURCE WITH PARTICIPATION OF VOLUNTARY, COUNSELLING AND TESTING SERVICES IN WOMAN SEX WORKER The Study Was Conducted in the Working Area of Puskesmas II South Denpasar 2018 ABSTRACT Voluntary, Counselling and Testing (VCT) known as counselling and testing HIV voluntary, help every people to get access toward all the service, like information, education, therapy and psychosocial support. This study aim to determine the relationship of information source with the participation of VCT services in woman sex worker in the working area Puksesmas II of South Denpasar. The type of this study in analytic correlation with cross sectional approach. The population in this study is woman sex worker in the working area of Puskesmas II South Denpasar, with the great sample is 47 people, analysis of selected data using Fishers Exact Test with purposive sampling technique. This study find, as much as 42 people (89,4%) have the varies of information source and as much as 41 people (87,2%) have participated do VCT service every 3 until 6 moths. Result of data analysis show p value 0,011. The conclusion that there is a relationship of information surce with participation of VCT services in woman sex worker. For woman sex worker, it is expected to have more access to information related to VCT services so that woman sex worker is more supportive to participate in VCT services. Keywords: Information source; Voluntary, Counselling and Testing (VCT) HUBUNGAN SUMBER INFORMASI DENGAN PARTISIPASI LAYANAN VOLUNTARY, COUNSELLING, AND TESTING PADA WANITA PEKERJA SEKS Studi Dilakukan di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas II Denpasar Selatan Tahun 2018 ABSTRAK Voluntary, Counselling, and Testing (VCT) dikenal sebagai konseling dan testing HIV secara sukarela, membantu setiap orang untuk mendapatkan akses kearah semua layanan, baik Informasi, edukasi, terapi dan dukungan psikososial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan sumber informasi dengan partisipasi layanan VCT pada wanita pekerja seks di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas II Denpasar Selatan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Wanita Pekerja Seks (WPS) yang ada di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas II Denpasar Selatan, dengan besar sampel 47 orang, analisis data yang dipilih menggunakan Uji Fisher’s Exact dengan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menemukan, sebanyak 42 orang (89,4%) memiliki sumber informasi yang bervariasi dan sebanyak 41 orang (87,2%) berpartsipasi melakukan layanan VCT setiap 3–6 bulan sekali. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan p value 0,011. Simpulannya yaitu ada hubungan antara sumber informasi dengan partisipasi layanan VCT pada WPS di Wilayah kerja Puskesmas II Denpasar Selatan. Bagi WPS, diharapkan lebih banyak mengakses informasi terkait dengan layanan VCT agar WPS lebih mendukung partisipasi dalam melakukan layanan VCT.
