Abstract

Nutritional status is defined as health status resulting from a balance between nutrient requirements and inputs. Nutritional status is influenced by 2 main factors, namely direct and indirect factors. This study aims to determine the relationship between lifestyle and eating habits with nutritional status in students of the Faculty of Economics at Warmadewa University. The type of this research is observational with a cross-sectional design. The sample size in this study was 90 students from the Faculty of Economics. Data were collected by filling out a lifestyle questionnaire and a 2x24-hour recall form. The lifestyle studied consisted of habits such as smoking, exercising, consuming fruit and vegeTABELs and drinking coffee/tea. In addition, the frequency of ordering food through the application and the frequency of eating out were also investigated. The data was processed using chi-square analysis. The results of statistical analysis using the chi-square test showed, there is a relationship between lifestyle and nutritional status 0,017 (p <0,05). There is a relationship between eating habits based on the level of energy intake with nutritional status 0.000 (p <0.05). Moreover, there is no relationship between eating habits based on the level of protein intake with nutritional status of 0.797 (p <0.05).
