Abstract

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EXCLUSIF BREASTFEEDING, THE PATTERN GIVEN OF COMPLEMENTARY FOOD BREASTFEEDING, WITH CHILD NUTRITION STATUS. UNDER 2 YEARS OF AGE ON THE WORKSTATION OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER OF BUSUNGBIU I ABSTRACT Nutrition status is conditions the body after eating food and the needed and use of nutrients in the body as a source of energy, growth, regulation, and maintenance of the body's tissues. Nutrition status can be affected by two factors: direct factors such as food sustenance and infectious disease and indirect, such as education rate, social status, knowledge level, and income. The purpose of this study is to know the exclusive breastfeeding status and the pattern of miting with the nutrition status of a pubic child in the public health center of busungbiu I. This study was an observational study with a Cross Sectional draft that was carried out in December 2021. The population in this study is up to 303 children age 12-23 months and the samples is up to 115 children. The results of this study indicate that 39 children (33.9%) were exclusive breastfeeding, as many as 66 children (57.4%) with standardized complementary food breastfeeding, and 61 children (53%) had good nutrition status. The results of a Spearman statistical test show there is a relationship between exclusive breast status with child nutritional status (rs = 0,933; p= 0.013 < 0.05) and the pattern given of complementary food breastfeeding with child nutritional status (rs = 0,881 ; p= 0.027 < 0.05).
