Abstract

THE DESCRIPTION OF MOTHER'S BEHAVIOR ABOUT BASIC NEEDS FOR THE GROWTH OF CHILDREN DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC IN PELAPUAN VILLAGE 2022 ABSTRACT Toddler period is a critical period in order to obtain quality human resources, especially in the first 2 years period which is included in the golden age category for optimal brain growth and development. Infant groups are children of mothers 0-11 months. The toddler group is children aged 12-59 months, and the preschool group is children aged 60-72 months. The progress of children's development at the age of 3 years (36 months) and children aged 24-60 months is a period of crisis for children under five who continue to form brain tissue. This study aims to describe the behavior of mothers about the basic needs of toddler growth and development during the covid-19 pandemic in Pelapuan village in 2022. This type of research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach with an observational design, the sample of this research is 128 mothers of toddlers. The sampling technique used in this study is probability sampling with simple random sampling where every individual in the population has the same opportunity to be sampled. The results of the study found that most mothers of children under five had good knowledge as much as 82.1%. The attitude of the mothers of children under five was mostly good, as many as 67.2%. Keywords: toddlers, basic needs for growth and development GAMBARAN PERILAKU IBU TENTANG KEBUTUHAN DASAR TUMBUH KEMBANG BALITA SELAMA PANDEMI COVID-19 DI DESA PELAPUAN TAHUN 2022 ABSTRAK Masa balita sebagai masa kritis dalam rangka mendapatkan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas, terutama pada periode 2 tahun pertama yang termasuk dalam kategori masa emas untuk pertumbuhan dan perkembangan otak yang optimal.Kelompok bayi adalah anak ibu 0-11 bulan. Kelompok balita adalah anak umur 12-59 bulan, dan kelompok prasekolah adalah anak umur 60-72 bulan. Kemajuan perkembangan anak pada umur 3 tahun (36 bulan) dan anak umur 24-60 bulan merupakan salah satu masa krisis bagi anak balita yang terus terbentuk jaringan otaknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran perilaku ibu tentang kebutuhan dasar tumbuh kembang balita selama pandemic covid-19 di desa pelapuan tahun 2022. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain observasional, sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 128 ibu balita. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu probability sampling dengan simple random sampling dimana setiap individu dalam populasi memiliki peluang yang sama untuk dijadikan sampel. Hasil penelitian ditemukan sebagian besar ibu balita memiliki pengetahuan baik yaitu sebanyak 82,1%. Sikap ibu balita sebagian besar baik yaitu sebanyak 67,2%.Tindakan ibu balita baik yaitu sebanyak 65,7 %. Kata kunci : balita, kebutuhan dasar tumbuh kembang
