Abstract
CORELATION OF MOTHER’S AGE AND PARITY WITH ANEMIA TO PREGNANT WOMEN IN SERIRIT PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER I (PUSKESMAS SERIRIT I) IN 2020 ABSTRACT Anemia is a very serious health problem for people around the world, 40% of pregnant women who experienced anemia in all countries. The percentage of pregnant women with anemia in Puskesmas Seririt I is 7,5% increased from the previous year, so it is a special concern in the Maternal and Child Health program. The research objective was to see the corelation of mother’s age and parity with pregnant women who have anemia at Puskesmas Seririt I in 2020. This type of analytical research is related to a cross-sectional design. The study has conducted from May 2021 with a simple random sampling technique based on secondary data. Samples have recorded in a cohort of pregnant women. Data analysis used univariate in the form of frequency distribution and bivariate used Chi-Square test with a significance level of p<0,05. The results of the study in the univariate analysis found that pregnant women who have risk age were 47 people (19,7%), and pregnant women who have risk parity were 35 people (14,7%). Bivariate analysis with the Chi-Square statistical test found a corelation between age and anemia to pregnant women p=0,000<0,05 and there was a corelation between parity and anemia to pregnant women p=0,000<0,05. The conclusion of this study is there is a corelation between age and parity with pregnant women who has anemia at Puskesmas Seririt I. It is expected that other research methods, more specific measurements and the addition of variables can be done by further researchers for better research.
