Abstract
International Diabetes Federation (IDF), Indonesia has diabetes alert status because it ranks 7th out of 10 countries with the highest number of diabetes patients. The prevalence of patients with diabetes in Indonesia reaches 6.2 percent, which means that there are more than 10.8 million people suffering from diabetes per year 2020. In 2020 the number of patients with diabetes mellitus at the Bhakti Rahayu General Hospital Denpasar amounted to 150 people. This study aims to determine the level of dietary compliance and nutritional status with length of stay in patients with diabetes mellitus in Bhakti Rahayu General Hospital Denpasar. This type of research is non-experimental with descriptive research with retrospective data collection method using secondary data. The sample in this study were 34 people. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling with purposive sampling method. The results of this study showed that the obedience diet level was 79.41%, nutritional status was 61.76%, length of stay was 64.70%.
