Abstract
EFEKTIVITY OF NUTRITION CARE PROCESS IMPLEMENTATION TOWARD BLOOD GLUCOSE LEVEL IMPROVEMENT IN DIABETES MELITUS PATIENTS ABSTRACT Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease that occurs due to failure of the pancreas to produce the hormone insulin or when the body cannot use insulin effectively to control blood glucose (Perkeni,2015). In Indonesia, the prevalence of diabetes mellitus in 2018 based on a doctor's diagnosis in people aged> 15 years reached 2.0% with the highest prevalence in the 55-64 year age group (Riskesdas, 2018). This study aims to determine the study of several research results on the Effectiveness of the Implementation of Standardized Nutritional Care Process on Improvement of Blood Glucose Levels in Diabetes Mellitus Patients based on literature studies. This research is a literature review research conducted in April 2021. Searching for articles through google scholar obtained 8 articles that met the inclusion criteria. The analysis was done descriptively. The results of this literature review, namely the application of nutritional care showed a decrease in blood glucose levels in diabetes mellitus patients. From the literature search, it is known that most samples have a mean blood glucose level of more than 180 mg / dL and there is a decrease after the provision of standardized nutritional care by a dietitian / nutritionist.
