Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF PREGNANT WOMEN KNOWLEDGE ABOUT PREPARATION FOR LABOR IN THE MIDDLE OF PANDEMIC COVID-19 ABSTRACT Pregnant women are a vulnerable group to be infected with COVID-19, preparation for childbirth needs to be planned with health care workers to reduce maternal anxiety and unpreparedness during the delivery process during the pandemic. The purpose of this study was to describe the knowledge of pregnant women about preparation for childbirth in the midst of the pandemic COVID-19. The research method is descriptive which serves to provide an overview of the object under study with a questionnaire tool through google form to 51 pregnant women in PMB "S" Denpasar West with a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that in general pregnant women had good knowledge, 44 respondents (86.3%), 5 respondents (9.8%) had sufficient knowledge and 2 respondents (3.9%) had insufficient knowledge about labor preparation. From this study, it was found that most pregnant women had good knowledge on preparation for childbirth during thepandemic COVID-19 because mothers had free time at home so that mothers could obtain information through electronic media, health workers, and previous experiences of mothers. Further research is suggested to use other applications at the time of data collection and to further develop and explore more preparation for alliances in cultural aspects Key words: Knowledge, pregnant women, preparation for delivery, COVID-19
