Abstract

Maternal mortality and infant mortality are indicators to see the success of maternal and child health efforts. A midwife's efforts in reducing maternal mortality and infant mortality can conduct comprehensive midwifery care. In this final task report, the authors aim to find out the results of midwifery care given to 22-year-old Mrs. "DA" Multigravida from 32 weeks gestation 6 days to 42 days of nifas. This case study uses data collection techniques through interviews, examinations, observations and documentation. The development of pregnancy Mrs. "DA" goes normally. Childbirth care is carried out from the first time to the IV lasts physiologically and without complications at the gestational age of 40 weeks 1 day. The process of uterine involution, lochea production and lactation during nifas is normal. The growth and development of the baby runs physiologically. It can be concluded that the midwifery care given to the Mrs. "DA" from the gestational age of 32 weeks 6 days to 42 days of nifas period is in accordance with the standards. The writing of this report is expected to add insight and skills in providing midwifery care from pregnancy to the nifas period in accordance with standards and can improve the quality of midwifery services.
