Abstract
CORRELATION OF KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDE WITH CONSUMING FE TABLET IN STUDENTS AT SMA NEGERI 1 SINGARAJA ABSTRACT The Strategic Plan of the Indonesian Ministry of Health for 2015-2019 targets the coverage of giving iron tablets to adolescent girls gradually from 10% (2015) to 30% (2019). The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes with consuming FE tablet in female adolescent at SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja. The type of research used in this study is an observational study with a cross-sectional design. The samples obtained were as many as 80 female adolescent from class X and XI. Statistical testing using the Spearman rank test. The characteristics of the sample were found to have an age range of 14-16 years as much as 55.0% and age 17-19 years as much as 45.0%. Knowledge of female adolescent is mostly in the good category that is equal to 67.5%, for attitude is also mostly in the category of good attitude that is equal to 61.3%. And for the consuming FE tablet in female adolescent, most of them are in the good category, which is 80.0%. Results The results of the bivariate analysis using the Spearman rank test and the p value = 0.002. Because the value of p < (0.05), then H0 is rejected. This means that there is a correlation between knowledge and consuming FE tablet in female adolescent at SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja. Likewise for the attitude variable, the results of the bivariate analysis using the Spearman rank test and obtained p value = 0.003. Because the value of p < (0.05), then H0 is rejected. This means that there is a correlation between attitude and consuming FE Tablet in female adolescent at SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja. Keywords: knowledge, attitude, consuming FE Tablet
