Abstract

Comprehensive care is care provided by midwives from pregnancy, childbirth, newborns, postpartum and until the mother decides to use contraceptives which aims to provide continuity of care services to prevent complications. The method used in this care is a case study with data collection technique through interview, examination, observation and documentation . The midwifery care start from the 03 of March to 20 of April 2021. This midwifery care aims to determine the development of maternal care result to Mrs. “ID” from 36 weeks and 5 days pregnancy until 42 days postpartum with her baby. Midwifery care of pregnancy lasts physiologically at gestational ages 37 weeks 4 day. The labor from period I until IV was physiologically, baby was born spontaneously, immediately crying, active muscle tone, the skin redness, the baby was a girl and the weight was 3500 gram. The process of involution uterus, the discharge of lochea and lactation during the postpartum was normal. The baby until 42 days did not had any interference. Suggested to midwives in order to improve the quality of services in providing comprehensive midwivery care in accordance with midwifery care standards and midwifery service standards.
