Abstract

Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) is an indicator of the success of public health in a country, Government sector efforts to prevent an increase in MMR and IMR, especially during the Covid 19 pandemic by improving health services in collaboration with health workers which are closely related to women, namely midwives and midwives, are expected to be able to provide ongoing care for women starting from providing midwifery care to pregnant women, childbirth, up to 42 days of postpartum and newborn babies. Writing this report aims to prevent the occurrence of high risks and complications that can occur in pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and newborns. This midwifery care was given to Mrs. "LA", 28 years old Multigravida from 31 weeks of gestation 4 days until 42 days of the postpartum period. Labor took place at 39 weeks 1 day of gestation and delivery was normal without any complications. The puerperal condition which includes smooth involution, proper and normal discharge of lochea and lactation process where there are no disturbances or problems. The condition of the baby mother "LA" from birth to 42 days in good health. After 42 days of childbirth, the “LA” mother decided to use 3 month contraception injection. It can be concluded that the midwifery care applied by Mrs. "LA" during pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and neonates takes place physiologically without any complications or complications.
